Let’s explore Pop Art – from Warhol to Banksy!
Bright colors, strong contrasts and creative statements – this vacation course is all about the world of Pop Art! We discover how artists such as Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Roy Lichtenstein and Banksy have conquered the streets, galleries and people’s hearts with their art – and let this inspire us to create our own unique works.
Whether with spray paints, stencils, collages, printing techniques or brushes and paint – we experiment with different techniques and materials and bring our ideas to life! The focus is not only on creative work, but also on the question: What do I want to express with my art?
Our daily routine offers a good balance of movement, play and organization:
Reception time (8 – 9am) with games and breakfast
In the morning (9am – 12pm) we learn about the artists and their techniques and get started with color, imagination and lots of creative power! We will spray, print, glue and paint – each in our own style.
At lunchtime (12 – 2pm), the children relax, eat, play and recharge their batteries.
In the afternoons (2 – 5 pm) we get out into the fresh air! We enjoy the summer, play and paint together outdoors and go on inspiring excursions – we discover Zurich’s street art and visit art museums.
As a grand finale, we invite you to the big vernissage, where the children proudly present their works – colorful, courageous and with a message!
Vernissage: Friday, 08.08. 3 – 5h, with aperitif
A vacation course for all children aged 5 to 10 who are interested in art with power, expression and lots of color!

Materials & snack: All materials and catering (breakfast, snack, lunch, afternoon snack) are included

Bring along:
- Art clothing that can be colored
- Provide clothing suitable for the weather and sun protection (sun cream and hat)
- Water bottle
- Please be sure to bring a set of spare clothes
